Me, John, and my son Jack absolutely love the LEGO Star Wars Ahsoka Ghost & Phantom II playset! As huge Star Wars fans, we were so excited to add this set to our collection. The buildable starships are incredibly detailed and the 5 included minifigures are spot on. We especially love the addition of Jacen Syndulla and First Officer Hawkins. It’s like we’re creating our own Ahsoka stories right in our living room!
My friend Sarah was over the other day and couldn’t stop playing with the Ghost starship. She was amazed by the 2 lever-activated spring-loaded shooters and how smooth they worked. The dual minifigure cockpit was also a hit and she couldn’t believe how easy it was to detach the turret for playtime. Needless to say, she’ll be buying her own set soon.
As a parent, I appreciate that this set is not only fun but also educational for my son. Building with 1,394 pieces may seem daunting at first, but with the help of the intuitive instructions on the LEGO Builder app, Jack was able to build these starships all on his own! Design and Features
The ‘Lego Star Wars Ezra’ set is based on the popular animated series, Star Wars Rebels. It includes 4 mini figures – Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Chopper, and Imperial Inquisitor Fifth Brother. The main feature of this set is the Phantom ship which can be built into two different modes – a standard version or a fighter mode with retractable landing gear.
Another impressive feature of this set is the spring-loaded shooters on both the Phantom and Fifth Brother’s Tie Advanced V1. The shooters add an element of playability to the set and are easy to use.
Building Experience
The building experience for this set was enjoyable and not too challenging. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me around 1-2 hours to complete the entire build. The pieces were well-designed and fit together perfectly without any issues.
One thing I appreciated about this set was that it came with extra pieces in case any got lost during building or playtime.
Playability
As mentioned earlier, the spring-loaded shooters add an element of playability to this set. You can also attach Chopper onto the side of the Phantom for more imaginative play. Additionally, both ships have opening cockpits for mini figures to sit in.
I also liked that this set can be combined with other Lego Star Wars sets to create bigger scenes from the show or your own imagination.
Value for Money
In terms of value for money, I believe that this set is worth every penny. It has a decent number of pieces (269) for its price range and includes 4 mini figures which are always a plus in any Lego set.
